Why we give.
God doesn’t need our money (Psalm 24:1; Psalm 50:10-12) , but He gives us the privilege of participating in what He is doing and blesses us for it (2 Cor. 9:6).
Far too many churches only speak of giving in the context of “generosity”, but it’s far more than that; God has called us to be faithful managers of His money in obedience. Afterall, He bases blessing us with spiritual riches in part with how faithful we are with His money (Luke 16:1-12).
